The perfect tart and floral notes of the hibiscus, brightened up with the cada dia tequila, makes this hibiscus margarita a fantastic choice.

Whether you’re looking for a thirst-quenching cocktail for a hot summer’s day, or something to warm your soul on a cool winter’s day, this one is an easy crowd-pleasing favourite.  Our hibiscus margarita doesn’t disappoint, and it can be enjoyed all year round. Consider batching this cocktail for large gatherings. And that colour, Wow!


2 oz cada día tequila reposado 
2 oz *hibiscus infusion
¾ oz orange liqueur
½ oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
½ oz agave syrup
salt rimmer (optional)

*Hibiscus Infusion
½ cup dried hibiscus flowers
2 cup boiling water


1. Combine dried hibiscus flowers and boiling water in a heatproof measuring glass or small bowl; let sit for 10 minutes.

2. Strain flowers through a fine-mesh sieve into another measuring glass or small bowl; discard hibiscus.

3. Let hibiscus infusion cool.

4. Combine all ingredients with hibiscus infusion in a cocktail shaker.

5. Add ice and shake until frosted.

6. Strain and pour over ice.

7. Garnish with a lime wheel.
